Help Willamette Valley Crisis Care thrive!
Double Your Gift Today. A generous donor has agreed to match up to $25,000 of funds raised through the end of the year. Donate today and your gift will be added to our matching gift fund to make double the impact in returning community responder services to Eugene.
Willamette Valley Crisis Care is raising money as we prepare to bid on the City of Eugene contract proposal for mobile integrated health and crisis services. We hope to have vans on the road in Spring of 2026. We successfully raised $50,000 this fall and for this giving season we'll be able to raise an additional $50,000 between your generous donations and a $25,000 matched gift.
Example of how funds will be used:
-
$5,000 covers the cost of training a new crisis worker
-
$2,500 covers the costs of outfitting a van with supplies, including an AED
-
$1,200 builds a new medic bag with everything from a blood pressure cuff to an EPIPEN and wound care supplies.
-
$700 covers office space for a month
-
$350 outfits a community responder with safe work boots, safety tools, and gear, including warm layers and rain gear.
-
$100 covers a 10-pack of wool military grade blankets for our unhoused clients
-
$25 covers a day's worth of snacks and water for clients
Please donate and share this campaign to return mobile integrated health community responder services. Thank you!

Founded by clinical and operational leaders in alternative community response, WVCC is working to bring mobile integrated health community responder services back to Eugene. Until April of this year, integrated mobile health services brought trauma-informed, zero-barrier, consent based care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to Eugene. WVCC is ready to bring these services back.
Dozens of people spoke at the Eugene budget hearings and hundreds more wrote emails in support of getting mobile integrated health community responder services back in the Eugene budget. We won and we couldn’t have done it without you. Eugene City Council approved a half a million dollars now to investigate where to find $2.2 million annually. We’re grateful for our national partners and advocates around the country and globe who’ve been inspired by this model and have supported our efforts to return mobile integrated health community responder services to the very community where they were conceived, evolved, and integrated into public safety for over 35 years.
Since this win, Willamette Valley Crisis Care has been awarded 501c3 recognition, formed a board of value-aligned, visionary humans, applied for four grants (awarded one for $10,000 from Oregon Community Foundation). Additionally at WVCC, we’ve developed our mission, vision, and strategic plan, and articulated the integrity of our work to decision-makers, stakeholders, and supporters like you. We’re thrilled to take the next steps to bring services back to Eugene.
